About

An initiative to combat the COVID-19 epidemic in Lesotho has been initiated by daughters and sons of Lesotho residing in South Africa, in solidarity with Basotho in Lesotho under the banner called COVID-19 Obe Lesotho (COL). COVID-19 Obe Lesotho operates under the auspices of Her Majesty Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso’s Queen’s National Trust Fund. All contributions will be channelled through this Queen’s Fund, which has a good track record of handling and implementing community initiatives. A Lesotho-based liaison committee made up of different stakeholders will work together with COL and the Queen’s Fund to ensure that resources reach targeted communities and stakeholders.

A call is hereby made to all daughters, sons and friends of Lesotho based in South Africa, Lesotho and beyond to contribute in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic in Lesotho. Please find the attached donation form to make a contribution to this initiative.

We wish to thank you in advance for contributing to this noble initiative to ensure that Basotho and Lesotho survive this pandemic
